Another week come and gone, I can't believe it! We are getting so good at listening and following directions. We actually earned our 1st 25 Tiger Tokens! The students had voted at the beginning of the year for "Stuffed Animal" day. So we will celebrate on Wednesday, 9/3. I will send out reminders, just in case you forget.
We are also doing a wonderful job with "Letter Experts" the students just LOVE to get to be the teacher, even for just a little while :)
I sent home a letter telling you how your child did on our first reading assessment: Letter recognition, upper and lower case. Please work with your child at home on the letters they still do not know. We do move very quickly from recognition to sounds to reading. The students will also be working on these at school but home is our first classroom and parents our first teachers. I appreciate all your support!
Snack Helpers: Madison, Noah, Aubrey P., Christian
